I like to keep things simple and at the same time I’m very much interested in the (sub)consciousness of myself and others, which is not so simple at all. 
I use my art to simplify and understand partially this rich complex (sub)conscious world. Playing around with (self created) 3D objects makes my head empty and quiet. And that’s what’s needed to literally create a life that’s still, a still life. When a certain composition is worth a painting, the soul is touched. The painting is a screenshot of this quiet mysterious inner world. 
Painting the 3D object as a still life affirms connection and reveals it through new materials, colors, size and style which all have their own symbolism in the work. 

Preferably small objects, blown up in size, filling a canvas, like it’s in your face. From the perspective that details matter.  

In terms of color, topics or style the paintings don’t form a series. They form a series because of the process.
